Dakota, an ex-service dog, join individual mum Kate (Cornish) and her girl Alex (grand Turk) to populate on their small-town household farm. Dakota rapidly adjust to her new place and become slightly of a local hero, shortly become inseparable from Alex. But when the farm’s being is endanger by the town’s knave sheriff, Dakota must assist the household set together and salvage the land.
