The movie picture the life and mishap of two unemployed immature actor in late-1969 Greater London. They are the showy alcoholic Withnail and “I” (name “Marwood” in the print screenplay but not in the credits) as his comparatively to a greater extent healthy friend and the movie’s storyteller.
