After the devastating comet Clarke strikes the Earth and destroys much of civilization, the Garrity family manages to survive by taking shelter in a secure bunker in Greenland. Although they have finally reached a place that offers temporary safety, their struggle for survival is far from over. The world outside has been transformed into a harsh and dangerous wasteland. Realizing that their future cannot remain in the bunker forever, the family is forced to make a difficult decision. They must leave the safety they found behind and travel across the ruined landscapes of Europe in search of a new place to live. Along the way they face countless dangers, uncertainty, and the constant challenge of surviving in a world that has been forever changed.
