In a bleak, dystopian version of near-future America, fifty teenage boys are selected to participate in a brutal annual competition known simply as the Walk. The rules are merciless: each contestant must maintain a strict minimum pace, and anyone who slows down or stops receives a fatal penalty. With no finish line other than survival itself, the boys are pushed to the limits of their physical endurance and mental strength. As exhaustion, fear, and desperation take hold, alliances form and shatter, and the true cost of obedience to a cruel system becomes painfully clear. In the end, only one will remain standing.
